CREATING YOUR ANIMATED BANNER

- What size would you like your banner? Size in pixels (350x50) or (468x60) or other
- Would you like text in your banner? If so, you will need three or four words or short phrases that best describe your company, product or activity.

Banner Design Tips
- Sketch out a story board of what you want your banner to show, from beginning to end.
- Think of words and pictures that would naturally interest your audience and quickly catch their attention.
- Try not to make your banner look like an advertisement. Instead make it look informative and practical.
- Determine where you banner is to be featured. You will want the banner to look like it is a part of the website it is featured on and blend well.
- Don't overdo it! You want your banner to be eye-catching, not an eyesore. The more stuff you put in there, the longer the download time and the less likely visitors will admire your message or click through to your site.
